AAC stands for Autoclaved Aerated Concrete. It is a lightweight material which provides excellent structural, thermal, fire, termite and mould resistance. It can be a very good exterior cladding material when combining with steel framing.(check out how to use AAC panel with Steel framing)
AAC is manufactured from cement, sand, lime and water; it is aerated by adding an expanding agent to the mix. The result is a concrete panel filled with small, finely dispersed air bubbles, which is both strong and lightweight.
